  • Investments in Renewable Energy to Double by 2020, Reaching $395 Billion Per Year, Says Bloomberg New Energy Finance

The good news: renewable energy investments are projected to double over the next eight years and reach $395 billion per year, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance. That’s up from $195 billion in 2010.

    webmasters comment:

Follow the money? with an imaginary price of 3.95 billion / per nuclear power plant, this is 100 nuclear power plants per year that WILL NOT BE BUILD. Nuclear power is currently producing only 12% of worlds electricity and with such projections, the share will inevitably fall, regardless of the "push" that uranium and nuclear industry is trying to put out.

Why carry high risks of nuclear power plants, where a nation can loose their country in a split second while there are hundreds of other options that can be utilized?

Why allow these nuclear dinosaurs to continue their destructive path, with their contribution to electricity production will be inevitably nearing zero?

People of the world should never accept to risk their lives to protect the investments of uranium mining and nuclear industry!

Because that's whats is all about. A destructive industry with tons of capital is wrecking havoc around the world and it will continue to do so if not stopped by the people. Because sad truth is, that money that comes out of the nuclear industry doesn't smell either (similar to radioactivity), but is deadly nonetheless when put in the hands of corrupt government officials.
