  • Evacuation Ordered After 3 Nuclear Workers Burned by Radiation
The injured workers were contaminated with up to 180 millisieverts of radiation, close to the recommended limit, after working in water 30 centimeters deep while laying a power cable. Two of the workers were hospitalized with beta radiation burns on their feet after water had seeped into their boots.

  • Cooling system at reactor No. 5 “abruptly stopped working on Wednesday afternoon” – TEPCO
… The cooling system at Reactor No. 5, which was shut down at the time of the earthquake and has shown few problems since, also abruptly stopped working on Wednesday afternoon, said Hiro Hasegawa, a spokesman for Tokyo Electric.
“When we switched from the temporary pump, it automatically switched off,” he said. “We’ll try again with a new pump in the morning.”
The second sentence of this quote appears to have been removed from the NY Times article cited by enews. Does this have something to do with Stuxnet?

  • Radioactive Iodine In Fukushima Seawater Highest Ever, Reactors 5 And 6 Now Leaking Too
What's far worse, reactors 5 and 6 which have been supposed to be ok, are also leaking: "The firm also said it found both iodine-131 and cesium-137 in a sample taken from near the drain outlets of the plant's No. 5 and No. 6 reactors that stabilized Sunday in so-called ''cold shutdown.'' The bad news is not only in immediate proximity to Fukushima: "Iodine-131 19.1 times higher than the limit was also detected Wednesday afternoon in a sample taken some 16 kilometers south of the nuclear power station, up from 16.7 times on Tuesday."

  • Fukushima Radiation Release Rivals Chernobyl
Despite media spin downplaying severity of crisis, Fukushima is likely to be a worse catastrophe than 1986 disaster.
The radiation released by the stricken Fukushima nuclear plant already rivals and in one sense exceeds the Chernobyl catastrophe according to Austria’s Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics, even as media spin downplays the severity of the crisis despite the fact that the problems at the plant show no signs of abating.

  • Was Fukushima a victim of Stuxnet?
We know that the Stuxnet virus was written, at least in part, by Israeli programmers. There is reason to believe that American black ops were also behind the writing of the code. The virus was presumably intended to primarily target Iranian nuclear facilities ( it appears that the virus was very effective in slowing down the work at Iran’s nuclear power plant.). However the virus also infected computer systems across Asia, and most likely has infected numerous public utilities, both nuclear and conventional, around the planet.

  • Chernobyl-Style Yellow Rain Causes Panic In Japan
Radioactive yellow rain that fell in Tokyo and surrounding areas last night caused panic amongst Japanese citizens and prompted a flood of phone calls to Japan’s Meteorological Agency this morning, with people concerned that they were being fed the same lies as victims of Chernobyl, who were told that yellow rain which fell over Russia and surrounding countries after the 1986 disaster was merely pollen, the same explanation now being offered by Japanese authorities.

  • Evacuation zone near nuke plant may widen
The government is reviewing its current directive for people living in a 20 to 30 km radius of the stricken Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant to remain indoors, and may recommend they relocate farther away, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano indicated Thursday.
But Edano stressed in a news conference that reconsidering the directive does not mean the risk of radiation leaking from the plant is increasing.

  • Tap water woes hit Chiba, Saitama, Ibaraki
The scope of radiation-contaminated tap water expanded Thursday, with radioactive iodine detected in tap water in Chiba, Saitama and Ibaraki prefectures, while the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, which said the day before its drinking water was contaminated, scurried to distribute 240,000 bottles of water to households with babies.
Chiba authorities urged parents not to give tap water to infants less than 1 year old. Saitama refrained, at least initially, from taking similar measures after the level of iodine fell below the regulated limit later Thursday.

  • Yellow Rain Falls In Tokyo? Pollen Excuse Exact Same As Chernobyl Yellow Rain Lie
While the Japanese government continues to say that the yellow rain seen in Japan was simply “pollen,” many have been reminded of a very similar occurrence after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
Officials claimed that the yellow radioactive rain that feel in Gomel, Belarus was pollen and harmless. We now know that was a bold faced lie.
    Remembering Chernobyl – Yellow Rain:
“We all jumped in the puddles with the yellow stuff. … You don’t see (it in) the air, it doesn’t materialize. But when you see the yellow dust, you see radiation,” Sergieff said.

  • Fukushima radioactive fallout nears Chernobyl levels
Japan's damaged nuclear plant in Fukushima has been emitting radioactive iodine and caesium at levels approaching those seen in the aftermath of the Chernobyl accident in 1986. Austrian researchers have used a worldwide network of radiation detectors – designed to spot clandestine nuclear bomb tests – to show that iodine-131 is being released at daily levels 73 per cent of those seen after the 1986 disaster. The daily amount of caesium-137 released from Fukushima Daiichi is around 60 per cent of the amount released from Chernobyl.

  • Nuclear Physicists “Fukushima Nuclear Reactor Truth: Locally Chernobyl”
As with the BP Gulf Oil Spill independent scientists are finally stepping forward with research and analysis refuting government propaganda downplaying and minimizing the true scope of the disaster.
For example in my last post I wrote about an article on New Scientist, Japan Radioactive Fallout Hits 73% of Chernobyl levels.
Sascha Vongeh is a respected, published and peer reviewed scientist who also writes for the scientific website to Science 2.0 writes a piece titled “Fukushima Nuclear Reactor Truth: Locally Chernobyl”
He goes on to point out the ongoing cover up by so called government experts and concludes with a stern warning.

  • Japan Radioactive Fallout Hits 73% of Chernobyl levels
New scientific studies put Japan’s nuclear radioactive fallout at 73% of Chernobyl levels, refuting much government propaganda about how Japan is no big deal and Japan is "No Chernobyl".
Yellow radioactive rain has also began to fall in Tokyo, just like during Chernobyl.
