  • Fukushima Tops List of World’s 10 Most Radioactive Places

Our media have the attention span of a child.

The damaged nuclear reactors of Fukushima Daiichi, Japan, have fallen off the radar of our media’s interest, but that doesn’t mean things are hunky dory.

On the contrary, according to the 2010 report by the non-profit Blacksmith Institute, Fukushima tops the list of the world’s ten most radioactive places. Yes, Fukushima is more radioactive than Chernobyl!

  • International Atomic Regulators Continue To Spin The Fukushima Nuclear Disaster

This week the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) continued its attempts to down play the disaster in Japan claiming that the three reactors that melted down at Fukushima are ‘essentially stable’.

To call what’s left of the Fukushima nuclear plant after the meltdowns ‘reactors’ is a laughable; what you actually have is three piles of molten uranium fuel. To then claim that these ‘reactors’ are ‘essentially stable’ is unbelievable.
